On behalf of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the Portuguese Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC), we are delighted to welcome you to the World Allergy Congress 2024 (WAC 2024) which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 27 to 29 September, 2024.
In these last 6 years Portugal has won several travel awards and is considered to be one of Europe's leading destinations; in fact, Lisbon has been recently recognized as Europe's leading city-break destination, beating out favorites like Paris, Athens or Venice. This is just one of the many reasons why you cannot miss the WAC 2024.
Portugal has rich history of exploration and discovery that continues to this day, making it the ideal setting for the WAC. We have put together a fantastic scientific program to not only update you on the most recent innovations and concepts but also to think together about the options that are possible to implement in daily clinical practice worldwide, while being fully aware that there are enormous disparities and inequalities in access to new and innovative drugs.
In Portugal, most allergologists are clinicians devoted to patient care in different settings and we feel honored to have you all with us, joining fruitful discussions and sharing your valued insights. Let us network and collaborate with the certainty that this carefully crafted scientific meeting will help to further advance our capacity to provide the best possible care to all our patients, in all parts of the world.

Registration Details
All fees are in EUROS. Registration Fees exclude local VAT. Legal local VAT (23%) to be added.
As per Portuguese law all delegates (Portuguese, from EU and Non-EU, private persons, companies, or organizations) are required to pay local VAT (23%) on registration fees.
Junior Member pricing is available to people under 35 and/or within 5 years of graduation from a training program allergy, asthma, clinical immunology or related field. Proof is required in order to qualify.
Allied Health Professional pricing is available to scientific attendees working in healthcare professions who are not Clinicians nor Physicians. Dieticians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and health/medical technicians are considered AHPs. Proof of certification as an AHP must be provided in order to qualify.

Accommodations
The WAO and SPAIC is pleased to offer special rates at several local hotels exclusively for WAC delegates. These rates are only available to registered delegates and must be booked through the WAC registration portal. Delegates may book accommodations at the time of registration, or at a later date, by logging into your delegate registration profile. Space is limited, so register and book your accommodation now!
Abstracts
The window for abstract submission has closed. Applicants who submitted a late- breaking abstract will receive notification of acceptance by the end of August. Please contact info@worldallergy.org if you have any questions about your submission or wac2024@aimgroup.eu for questions about registration.

Continuing Medical Education
An application has been made to EACCME for CME accreditation for WAC 2024, 27-29 September 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Electricity
Portuguese power outlets are compatible with a Type C, E, or F plug. Normal outlets will supply 220-240 volts.
